The Presidency of Scott Walker

Yep, let's vote on the basis of what we think others think. Guaranteed results.

He probably has a better shot than many if he so desires to run.

Yep. I want to see how this guy will pontificate on rights when he so blatantly violated them.

It will be good.

I will be looking forward to how Debbie Wasserman beats up Walker next time around. what will she accuse of him next? Not paying his taxes for the last 10 years?

Right now he's my pick if he runs.

One thing to consider, he's been vetted like no one else. The Dims threw everything including the kitchen sink at him, yet he still beat their sorry asses, three times in four years.

when the left sees Walker consistently ahead in polls within 2/3 months of his announcement, they will be looking for 20-25 year old girls who will claim(more like Lie) that they had affairs with Scott Walker when they were 16/17.

Our case is not about injunctive relief. It is about the state’s seeking to exact a penalty from a citizen
who was exercising his right to free speech and assembly. The rule he stands accused of violating is
unconstitutional on its face. The rule is void; the citation must be dismissed.
There is nothing more to be decided.

It will be fun. Promise.

Scott Walker has no charisma. That all but guarantees he can't win.

Like it or not, presidential candidates without charisma almost never win. Think back, be objective. When's the last time the guy with more charisma lost?

In his state.

National elections are another animal though. I don't know how I think Walker would do though. I have never thought of him as a real contender before.

This is a problem if it is true.

The camera MUST like you to win the presidency no matter how asinine that really is. That is how people are going to see you. I haven't really seen him speak though - is his charisma really that bad?

No.

Some republicans understand this, but obviously not the majority:

Democrats decide who will be the next president, weak ('Reagan') democrats and democratic leaning moderates and independents; not republicans, not conservatives.

Consequently, republicans need to nominate a candidate for president democrats will vote for, and Walker is not that candidate – he's perceived by most democrats as being anti-working class American and a conservative ideologue.

did you say that with a straight face. That has got to be the most idiotic thing that you have ever said here and that is saying something.

Democrats do not 'decide who is president' anymore than republicans do. How idiotic can you get. the center decides who is going to be president - democrats and republicans are going to vote for their party regardless or not vote at all. The only way democrats help a republican candidate is by not showing up and voting for the democrat. Democrats have not, and will never, vote in republicans. The center is not democrats either - they are the moderates. They can and do vote for either party. This asinine argument is brought up all the time. Why in the heck would a democrat vote for a republican that is closer to the democrats when they already have a democrat candidate to vote for? They wouldn't.

The key is not going to far over the edge in the primary that you cannot take general but still manage to win enough of the base to be on the ballot.
