I make it 10 to 1 that Trump KO’s the Clintons.

Donald Trump suggested Wednesday that his recent criticism of Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton was so effective she's afraid to mention his name again.

"For the last week she's been hitting me really hard with the women card and I had to say, OK that's enough. And we did a strong number," the leading Republican hopeful told thousands of supporters at a campaign rally in Hilton Head, S.C.

"You look at whether it's Monica Lewinsky or Paula Jones or many of them ... there were certainly a lot of abuse of women," he told NBC Tuesday, referring to Bill Clinton's affair with then-White House intern Lewinsky and various allegations of sexual misconduct that riddled his presidency.

Trump claims he silenced Clinton's sexism attacks

Move the cursor toward the end of the video and you’ll hear Krauthammer offer Trump the knockout punch:

I doubt if The Donald needs a horseshoe in his glove. For one thing Hillary will play the victim card in a world much different than the one she lived in as first lady. The media made her a sympathetic victim before the INTERNET changed the rules.

For another thing, both Clintons turned the White House into a little Payton Place when they lived there. The odds are in favor of them doing the same again if they get a chance. Most of the American women Hillary plays to will not vote for a Payton Place rerun.

More to the point, Hillary was not liked when she was in charge of bimbo eruptions. She is liked less after a nothing 8 years in the Senate, a monumental failure as secretary of state, Banghazi, the e-mail server, the Clinton Foundation, and the endless stream of lies.

Most important is the two elections she “won.” The first one against an empty suit, Rick Lazio.

NOTE: In 2000, the Clintons thought Rep. Nita Lowey would be too tough to beat in NY. The reason Lowey decided not to run fails the smell test:

Lowey strongly considered running for the United States Senate in 2000, but stepped aside when First Lady of the United States Hillary Rodham Clinton announced her candidacy. Lowey was considered a top contender for appointment to Clinton's Senate seat after Clinton was nominated to be Secretary of State, but in a December 1, 2008 phone interview with the Associated Press, she stated that she isn't interested in giving up her senior seat on the House Appropriations Committee.

After Lowey bowed out, the “tough NY press corps” was not taking any chances Lazio might pull an upset; so they insured Hillary’s victory with powder puff questions.

In 2006, Hillary had a cinch in the person of Kirsten Gillibrand who dived in the tank deeper than a Cormorant dives for a fish. Gillibrand got the Senate seat as a payoff when Hillary resigned to become secretary of state. (She went on to win a special election in 2010 against a Republican cadaver.)

In 2008, Hillary could not beat a community organizer right out of the Chicago sewer system.

Bottom line: If Hillary Clinton is counting on Trump, or Ted Cruz, playing by media rules she is in for a rude awakening. The recent Payton Place kerfuffle is a promise of much more to come.

Finally, in my opinion, John McCain would have beaten Hillary Clinton in 2008. Few people remember that the possibility of a choice between Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton would have put the likable factor on Sarah’s side of the scale against Hillary; whereas, Sarah on the ticket was enough to prevent McCain from losing in a landslide.

Hillary is trying to restore her credibility by implying that Bill would provide an additional hand on the tiller if she were elected. Trump is countering this by bringing up Bill's abusive history with women. If Hillary continues to rely on Bill, she will risk diminishing her female support.

Given the seats that were up in 2014, that was not a difficult prediction. All but one person on these boards stated that the Dems would lose the majority in the Senate in 2014. Just as the GOP is going to lose the majority of the Senate in 2016. Demographics rule.

Trump? Should he get the nomination, he will lose in major way.
