The participants dressed as indians and represented no legal government.

And the powers that were reacted to the original Tea Partiers in much the same way as have the powers that be.

In that context, Democrat Party = King George and the Torries.

    Strange days indeed.

They threw tea into the water. No one was killed or injured.

Calling them "terrorists" seems kinda silly.

Umm the crown loyalists were like todays right wingers. mostly small business owners, etc that did not want to rock the boat. They were conservative and the revoluionaries were progressives.

so mailing envelopes of harmless white powder to congress would not be terrorism?
    It was a terrorist act.

Or putting a fake bomb in a school would not be terrorism?

I wonder how many of those "TERRORISTS" were 80 yr old Grandmothers wearing Red Sox jerseys.

Yes Madeline it is a bit silly but we would call it terrorism today if Muslims did it wouldn't we?

the dressing as indians is the key. Otherwise it would be vandalism.

Wrong....The revolutionaries were true old school liberals.

Progressives are merely Fabian socialists who need to obfuscate their true aims behind a nebulous label.
