ok----you could come up with your own definition----so far we have not reached
GENOCIDE or even INTENT AS to war crime----I am not convinced that the bombing

I don't care what people call it. Hamas murdered, raped, and tortured hundreds of innocent people in their October attack. Israel should move heaven and earth to kill every last one of those Hamas monsters. Collateral damage is inevitable, but that is all it is: collateral damage. And frankly, fuck the Palestinians. They have been violent towards Israel and Jews since well before Hamas came into being. Getting rid of a few of them too will only enhance the chance of peace.

In the case of Japan and Germany, the strategic purpose of bombing civilians was to keep them out of the factories making munitions and other war equipment. Plus, it does have a certain demoralizing effect.
