It is the truth. He was not creating a disturbance, he was kneeling quietly.
Yes, but it sure brought attention to those Sox prompting deeper discussion about how deep does his activism go, and is he wrecklace in his application or cause from a position of influence ?
When these guys kneel, the television does not have to show it. However they will, because it is newsworthy.
If it botheres people, quit playing the anthem before sporting events. It is not necessary. has nothing to do with sports and is politicalising them.
. So the activist win over on a long held tradition in America ? Not going to happen... This is the thought process of anti-Americans today, but it's fixing to change as America becomes strong internally and externally again.
The tradition means nothing and is out of place at a sporting event.
Millions of Americans disagree with your assessment, and so the Anthem will remain.
Of course it will. But people are allowed to protest, that is America. And those protesting are more patriotic and care more about the country than the jingoistic flag wavers.

Protest and flag waving should go hand in hand together, but when it is separated then you have alot more in a protest than meets the naked eye.

Many unAmerican people are flag wavers. The America Love it or Leave It and My Country Right or Wrong crowd.

You tell me.

So the activist win over on a long held tradition in America ?

Then you see racism and all the misdeeds that activists protest against as part of long held traditions in America. That's not a very nice thing to say.

You ability to improperly apply words is remarkable ... though, sadly misguided. No matter how you describe it, bullshit still smells the same.

. Don't try and twist things, it makes you look desperate or even idiotic for trying. No one is going for that tactic anymore. Now you can do a great job, but then you go there.

The point is that no matter how hard and loud you cry, its within your rights as a US citizen to protest. If you dont like that then move to an eastern bloc country where you have to be in lock step.

These are your words, are they not? ......... 'So the activist win over on a long held tradition in America?' You are admitting that issues that are of the utmost concern to the American population should not be raised by employing Democratic rights and principles - because that exercise (well within the law) would be in direct opposition to......... 'traditions in America.' < These are your very own words. If you feel that standing for the flag is (or ought to be) mandatory duty then your idea of 'honouring' the flag (what it is suppose to represent) needs some soul-searching and vast re-modelling. Are you familiar with the term 'honour'? Do you know what it means?

. No one is saying you can't protest... Good googly moogly it's hard to get this through some people's heads... It's only that there is a proper place and time for it. But you libs love chaos and mayhem, so it is what it is, but I just wish you libs would have the nerves to take your punishment if you get stupid about it all, instead of leaning on or crying to your socialist government to take care of you all, and your weekend down racist immoral characters. Cops dressed as pigs on his sox, but he's an American heroe after innocent police are getting killed because of the wrecklace behaviors of the protestors ? Give us a break already.

. Great and good traditions in America should be supported yes, but not the bad or newly created ones no... The good ones like
policing in a proper way, and being a good innocent cop is one great old tradition in America, but because of excersizing your rights in a wrongful way, the innocent traditional cop has to die ? Go on tell me more about how you think your so smart you can twist anything and everything here like your doing and/or are attempting to do but it ain't working out to good for you.

This paragraph of yours hasn't a smidgen of logic in it. It makes no coherent sense at all. But I suppose if I were brought up to believe that Al Capone, Bonnie & Clyde, Jessie James, Machine Gun Kelly, Billy the Kid, General Custer, etc .... were heroes then I might see things your way. It must be a cultural difference. And then I might point out that the US has no 'old traditions' but it would be unfair of me to bring that up just now.

The problem with your opinion is that you dont have authorization to determine when that proper time and place is. Since you dont have that authority what you think doesnt really matter.

My vote along with millions more will give me authority along with those millions more once again, and then you will be crying your little high jacking supportive eyes out that America finally got it's common sense back.
