The Next Two Months Will Foretell the Next Two Years

Unless Obama and the lame duck Democrats in the Senate try to pull some political trickery during the next two months, there is a chance that some semblance of good governance may prevail over the next two years. Other than Obamacare, there are plenty of other issues that could be resolved through bipartisan negotiation. The biggest obstacle to that possibility is a well deserved lack of trust in the White House, which has seemed bent on legislating by Executive Order. What happens during the next two months will determine if that lack of trust can be repaired.
