Despite their claims, at the end of the day what improves lives in America is jobs. Gov't jobs are a necessary evil that produce nothing but private sector jobs not only produce, they drive our economy. Even our left-leaning elected officials implicitly recognize this reality - not that left-leaners are particularly fond of economic realities - by gov't approval of (and even cooperation with) with Enterprise Zones and other sweeteners intended to attract businesses to their neighborhoods, cities and states. They - like our board lefties - may whine about "corp welfare" but they know that job creation and the income and taxes those workers generate is good for their constituents as well as their cities, states and America.
God Bless those "evil capitalists!"

New York Democrats decry "corporate welfare" but offer a 10 year tax holiday to new businesses moving into the state.

It's not just NY but virtually every city and state uses sweeteners to attract the businesses that create the jobs.
The prob isn't the sweeteners but rather the whiny, sniveling loony leftists who demand the jobs and then whine about the cost.
The same hypocrisy exists all over America.

Public schools produce 'nothing'?

Typical. You totally ignored the thrust of the OP. I'll repeat it for you:

What dilemma? The only dilemma is corporations are raking it in, you are in a race to the bottom, and America doesn't even make its own socks and underwear anymore let alone TVs and computers. Jobs are terrific, so why'd you stand by and watch them shipped off to other nations?

Yeah ... because now there are no jobs in America. :lmao:
BTW, for those of us smart enough to invest in American corps, the asset growth and dividends make life easier. You should quit your whining and join the fun.

I responded to you saying this:

"Gov't jobs are a necessary evil that produce nothing"

Now, do you want to answer the question or are you incapable of calming down long enough to do so?

So you continue to ignore the thrust of the OP. Here ... I'll repeat it again:
