    Article comes from some sort of propaganda organ, don't know who is behind it, on NORK affairs.

    Essentially, the crown prince of North Korea was responsible for a currency reform back in November. It went very badly, and there is still murming in the North about it. (Strange in itself, but the biggest victims of the currency reform were the more corrupt members of the State Police responsible for economic matters.)

    Anyway, the regime blamed some high level official who was not a Kim relative and had him shot.

    And the population is pissed and the regime needed to deflect attention elsewhere.

    So in April they tried to start a war
