I only caught the last half but I am increasingly impressed with the direction Newt seems to be heading in his politics. When he first entered the race, I figured he was just another establishment big government guy...whatever. However, the more I hear him, the more I hear Libertarian principals enter into his ideas. I like that a lot. He's the only one of the candidates I consider supporting over Paul. That's because they're ALL just fine as far as I'm concerned vs the current officeholder, but I'm really beginning to like Newt.

Cain/Newt in the general? Newt/Cain? Hell, Romney/Newt. In a heartbeat.

well the debate wasn't as impressive as made out to be....pretty much a mismatch....

can't say i was that impressed with Cain.....he reminded me of Perry actually......kinda bumbling....Newt Gingrich pretty much mopped the floor with him.....but politely of course.....no gotchas...

of the two.... i would definitely pick Gingrich to debate Obama.....Obama by now has a pretty good patter....but Gingrich really knows the lay of the land and has experience....and very, very knowledgeable.....he would really mop the floor with Obama....gotchas included....
