The Kennedy's Darkest Secret Comes To Light

""I was so sad to learn that she was sent away to boarding school at the young age of just 11 years old," says Larson. "And her letters home just pour out her loneliness — how much she wants to see her parents and her siblings. It’s so heartbreaking."

Regardless of her alleged psychiatric and intellectual issues, Rosemary was fully capable of socilizing and expressing herself, even making rare appearances alongside her accomplished siblings. At 19, she even attended an audience with King George VI during her father's tenure as U.N. ambassador to the U.K. Described as "curvy and vivacious" in Larson's book, Rosemary soon became a liability in her father's eyes.

"There was great concern about her sexuality," says Larson. As a teenager, Rosemary had been sent to live in a convent, from which the nuns reported she would often sneak out. They told her parents that, "She would come home and she had been drinking and she would be all messed up — leaves in her hair and things like that. The implication was that she was out meeting men and having sexual encounters. And that obviously scared Joe very much."

This is perhaps why, in 1941, when Rosemary was 23, her father decided to have her lobotomized."

JFK's father was corrupt as hell.Thank goodness Jfk was an apple that fell very far from the tree.He wasnt a saint by any means and had his flaws but the mob thought he would allow them to do what they wanted once he got elected since Joe used his connections with the mob for the mob to get him elected.

He did just the opposite of what the mob thought he would do though. He and Bobby went after them tooth and nail.they were the dog biting the hand that fed them.

Darkest secrets? Thanks to the U.S. media's ability to keep a secret the Russians knew more about JFK's personal weaknesses than the American public. The media knew about Jack's philandering and the Kennedy association with organized crime figures and even JFK's reliance on Dr. feelgood for drugs for pain from a congenital back condition but they kept it a secret. God help us the next time the president is able to appoint his own brother to cover his ass as Attorney General but quirky Bobby broke the law when he tapped MLK's phone without a warrant and he spent his free time hatching idiotic plots to murder the president of a sovereign country. Between the two brothers they managed to use the CIA illegally to raise, train and equip an invasion army to attack Cuba which they abandoned at the Bay of Pigs. If the media didn't protect Camelot the Kennedy brothers could have been impeached on a dozen charges.
