the government defines a "school shooting" as any discharge of a firearm in or AROUND a school.

*) two 30 year old gangsters have a shootout across the street - that a "school shooting"

*) a school cop shoots himself in the foot - that a "school shooting"

*) the police bust a meth lab across the street - that a "school shooting"

*) some numbnut commits suicide across the street in a house - that a "school shooting"

*) liquor store owner across the street shoots a robber - that a "school shooting"

*) a police officer shoots a suspect who stopped by a school , there go another "school shooting"

So why don't we add up the body count for the school shootings in the last decade? And look at what kind of guns were used.

You assholes yap about the government, it ain't the government now, it is the parents and grandparents that are completely fed up with seeing children murdered so you assholes can have your war guns. They should never have been allowed in civilian hands in the first place, there is no need for them. And they are invariably the choice of the crazies when they decide to vent their inadaquacies on the rest of us. Time to regulate them to the point that only those that can pass the requirements for a class 3 license can have assault rifles off their property.
