Just because they win a Battle does not mean they win the war. The demographics and an entrenched dogma within the party will soon leave them on the outside looking in. National races will be the first to go. And when the affects of their gerrymandering are muted through population shifts, their efforts to control state governments will begin to fail.

It may not be too late, if the GOP would only widen their umbrella of acceptance and revisit some of their outdated dogma.

But the days are growing short for the GOP....

Nice try but no one is actually buying into your idiotic assumptions about what minorities are going to be doing 50 years into the future.

Republicans are likely to win this November. Democrats are likely to win in 2016. What does it mean for the parties themselves? Virtually nothing. They are going to be here tomorrow and they are going to persist for many more decades - whatever form they may take after those decades have passed. The truly sad part is that I doubt people will never realize that the parties are identical for all intents and purposes. The minor differences are nothing more than parlor tricks to keep the masses voting to give them power rather than the other guys.
