You might also reflect on the fact that the change of 100 ppm of CO2 is the differance between and interglaciel and a glacial period. It has been millions of years since the atmosphere had the present amount of GHGs in it. And at that time, there was no Arctic Ice, and not that much ice in Anarctica. Yes, the results are not immediate. What we are seeing now is the result of GHG levels of 40 to 50 years ago. So no matter what we do, we are still to see the result of todays levels.
