Germany seemed fine when I left there. Gas prices were a little high on the local economy. EES gas was fairly cheap. And we got those coupons for ESSO or EXXON gas. I can't remember if the name had been changed while we were there, or not? As for the society itself, it was orderly and polite. And safe.

All of the listed have socialist policies. That does not make them a total socialist. Almost all countries have some form of socialism and some form of capitalism. The thing is how much of each.

You don't know what you are talking about. They make health care more available not better. Get to know the difference. Last, if it was not for America health care would not be profitable and advancement in the health care community would slow down.

It would mean that US workers wouldn't have to worry about losing their home if they got sick, or even if they lost their job.

How wonderful but they also wouldn't really have a home that was their home.

It would mean an average DOUBLING of paid vacation and sick time for the average worker and mandate paid time off for ALL employers.

You know there are horror stories out there about the socialist issues. You have to know that in both a socialist and communist ideal there is no surplus. There is only the exact amount needed. There are times where that will mean someone will not get what they need because there wasn’t enough on hand. In free market there is a surplus. Ive wondered how they can look at the fact that Europe is in the midsts of a collapse and want us to become more like them. Do they not see what's going on in Europe or do they think that we can somehow do the same thing and not have the same results because we are better? Or worse, do they want us to suffer the same results?

We should be fleeing the European models like crazy, not trying to reproduce them.
