Well, he certainly doesn't appear to have much influence on Fox as so many tell us that Fox promotes Islamophobia.
The deflections are amazing.
It's in the best interest of the Saudis we keep buying oil. They buy off their population. They don't really produce much else and they are oppressive as heck. Not only that..within their borders they tell their people all their woes are because of America. And the Princes travel world wide and don't live like the common folk they force their misery upon.
And it is those very people, the Princes, that are very well involved in our political process.
How come nobody cares about "foreign influence" when it comes to where the cash for the mosque is coming from?
What percent of News Corp does he own?
Does GE/NBC disclose its ties to Obama's stimulus?
I sort of don't give a rats ass about the "Mosque" or who invests in it.
What I do give a rats ass about is a "News Organization" claiming that it is unbiased and spews false stories almost on a daily basis. Then it contributes millions to political causes. And THEN it's disclosed that a big stake owner comes from a backward extremely conservative theocratic nation who's main source of revenue is oil.
The deflections are amazing.

Yes, it does, more than the GOP and even more than GE does. I guess I posted the link above for no reason. And, the corpoaration in which the prince invests overwhelmingly supports the Democratic Party.
NewsCorp supports the Democratic party? That's rich.
....
Of course he's against the mosque, it is being built by a MODERATE muslim group...he belongs to an EXTREME muslim group.
Come to think of it, maybe that's why FOX is against it as well.
Well it appears that NewsCorps second largest investor is Prince Walid Bin Talal..
Prince Walid bin Talal of Saudi Arabia is also the second-largest shareholder of Fox News’s parent, the News Corporation, with a stake worth more than $2 billion, which was not always disclosed on Fox News.
In fact, Prince Walid, in his first public comments about the matter, says he is actually opposed to the Islamic center’s being built in downtown Manhattan.
“I have been associated with this mosque in New York, but frankly speaking, I have nothing to do with it,” he said in an interview. “I’m not for putting that mosque there.”

This disclosed after NewsCorp made several million dollars in donations to Republican Candidates.
So the right wing propaganda arm of the Republican Party, which created the current Tea Party has now disclosed that a huge investor is a Saudi Prince.
Outstanding.

So you seem to be saying that NewsCorp should shun the Saudi's and yet...

Seems a bit of a double standard.

Prove it.

Prove it.
The Saudi Princes..are not extremist..per se. But they do promote it somewhat. Generally by use of schools that put forth the notion that America is bad.

I asked for proof. You failed!
Examples of the Current State of Madrasas
Role of Saudi Arabia.13 In recent years, the dissemination of Saudi Arabian
donations to Islamic charities and the export of a Saudi educational curriculum have
received worldwide attention. Although in Saudi Arabia itself, schools teach subjects
beyond religious studies, conservative Islamic teachings permeate the Saudi educational
system structure. Viewing Saudi Arabia with greater scrutiny following the events of
September 11, experts have maintained that Saudi school curricula foster anti-Western
and anti-Semitic sentiments. Saudi official textbooks also reportedly denounce Shia
Islam as well as any popular Islamic practices that do not agree with Wahhabi beliefs.14
In response to such allegations and following a review of schoolbooks in 2002, the Saudi
foreign minister stated that, in light of a Saudi government survey, 5% of the material was
considered horrible and 10% questionable, while 85% called for understanding with
other religious faiths.15 Shortly thereafter, the government vowed to remove objectionable
parts and to train teachers in promoting tolerance, but skeptics continue to question the
extent to which the government is willing or able to instill reforms in its schools.

You can listen to any Obama speech and hear that America is bad.

Proof of what?
This?

That proves absolutely nothing.
From your link.
Since the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, the Islamic religious schools
known as madrasas (or madrassahs) in the Middle East, Central, and Southeast Asia
have been of increasing interest to U.S. policy makers. Some allege ties between
madrasas and terrorist organizations, such as Al Qaeda, and assert that these religious
schools promote Islamic extremism and militancy. Others maintain that most of these
religious schools have been blamed unfairly for fostering anti-U.S. sentiments and for
producing terrorists. This report1 provides an overview of madrasas, their role in the
Muslim world, and issues related to their alleged financing by Saudi Arabia and other
donors. The report also addresses the findings of the National Commission on Terrorist
Attacks Upon the United States (the 9/11 Commission) and issues relevant to the
109th Congress. Related CRS products include CRS Report RS22009, CRS Issue Brief
