It's so pretty here tonight. Janice has the fireplace stoked and we've seen a 3" accumulation of new snow just in the last hour -very light powder, the kind of snow they pray for 35 minutes down the road at the Wolf Creek Ski/Snowboard resort. The weather office says we can expect an accumulation of 6" tonight.

We spend so much time harping about petroleum, cooling/warming take your pick, and the environment, that we sometimes forget to smell the roses, to appreciate this beautiful blue orb for what it is on any given day. The Rockies and San Juans will probably be snow from base to summit tomorrow. If it's clear, we'll have a 110 mile panorama all along the Rockies. It'll be magnificent. I'll post a photo or two.

Annie in heaven...

I'm jealous.
We're rumored to be getting some over the weekend. Been a long time.

Sheesh, and Sunday and Monday, it is going to be 61 F and sunny here. But, really, I am envious, grew up in Eastern Oregon, and enjoyed the snow in the winter there.
