TRUMP"S TRADE WAR! Yes that is what the left is calling the long overdue confrontation of the Chinese trade bandits and so with that comes an entire round of Politically Correct positions.
1.) Global warming is no longer important to lefty because China is the biggest offender in the Co2 contributions to the Atmosphere. So you don't hear anything about that anymore. In the mean time China is building and starting up coal fired power plants at an absolutely blistering pace.
2.) Slavery is now in. The Chinese economy is a false economy built on under-priced manual labor that amounts to actual slavery. Slavery is now in with lefty since it's Trump's enemy, China that practices it. No more talk of minimum wages or a fair share of the pie....that's off the table for now.
3.) The right to protest is no longer important since it is the Communist Chinese government that is putting a brutal crackdown on the Hong Kong Demonstrations and hauling away dissenting journalists never to be seen again.
Among the things that holds in agreement with the Chinese central authorities are the following:
Complete and utter control of all thought, speech and actions
Divesting of all Personal property in behalf of the greater community ( same root word as communist )
Total obeisance to the government with no questions asked and no opinions stated.
Destruction of opposing viewpoints with active pursuit including arrests, imprisonment and in some cases death.
All of this is a lefty Dream come true...ergo you see absolutely nothing here or anywhere else authored by a lefty in condemnation of what is happening right now in Hong Kong.
