The thread title could have been "The danger of a partisan witch hunt".
Since every Republican, and 2 democrats voted against the partisan rules for impeachment, it shows that the democrats know that their "articles" are going nowhere in the Senate. Trump also gets tons of material for his 2020 commercial barrage. That plus the democrats don't have a viable 2020 candidate bodes well for Trump. The more interesting question is "will the dems keep the House in 2020?" I doubt it.
