What's going on is that Trump wants to end the sanctions, but the gop senate won't agree, and the only change in Ukraine that would lead to the senate changing it's collective mind would be Russia giving back territory, and Putin won't do that because the oil and gas HE STOLE is worth more to him than the sanctions cost him.Ah well there it is.
