Gadzooks, when people have a choice, they are choosing conservative! I've been reading Anderson's take on 'South Park Conservatives' since shortly after 9/11. I am going to get this book:

    Great article, highly interesting
It is amazing how right he is about South Park skewing the liberals so badly with wicked humor. A foul-mouthed TV show about a bunch of punk kids is helping to destroy liberalism. Unbelievable until you think long and hard about it.

I still remember the kindergarten class president election. It was almost as bad as the real election in 2000. Rosie O'Donnell even showed up to oversee the process.

I also remember their common sense take on NAMBLA.

"You see, I learned that no matter who you are, you have a voice in this world..."
"Dude, you have sex with children."
"It doesn't matter if you're black or white or how you think. What's important is that you matter."
"Dude, you have SEX with CHILDREN."
"Yeah, we're all for tolerance and equal rights and crap, but seriously, **** you."

You gotta love South Park! The NAMBLA episode reminds me of a recent discussion on this board about child porn. There was a time when there was no reason to debate things like that. Common sense told everyone it was just wrong.

While I lived in Germany Southpark did not work for me.

Now that I can personally access the madness of the political left the
religious right and the kindergartenization (ok I made that word up sue me)
of America I am truly entertained.

It works because of its Anarchic background attacking everyone. Sometimes
they have misses but overall great show.

Another show I noticed that attack political correctness is THe SHield
where they put a spotlight on the minority rights insanities that
go on in this country in the realm of politics.
