In 1994 I stood before 100s of students and a few dozen CCP representatives at a university in central China and, along with a good friend from Manchester, gave an hour long lecture on the nature, history, and importance of DEMOCRACY. In 1995, I stepped between a Tibetan merchant and the PLA thug who who had been busting his head in with the butt of a rifle and challenged him to do the same to me. He declined. Over the decades, I have ACTUALLY educated hundreds and hundreds of CHINESE students on the evils of communism and the benefits of democracy.

I disagree with this. China is not the USSR. The only part I agree with is about the complete totalitarian control of their own population. And no, I don't support them, and would like the Chinese Republic restored over all of China.

Now the CCP does want control over everything it deems to be China, which includes Taiwan, Hong Kong and the South China Sea islands.

It needs the US and other countries as commercial partners, and does not want to invade them.
