We can look at a few of the last things pulled off by the last administration that you applauded.
The CIA spied on congress.
NSA spies on Americans without warrant
IRS targets political opponents
They grab emails from New York Times
They grab emails and phone records from Fox News
They sell guns to Mexican drug cartels.

If the Trump administration did even one of these you would be calling for the villagers to grab up pitchforks and torches to oust the monster and put a stake through his heart.

If there's any option, I don't think the dems should impeach him in the House. Depending on what we learn about Russia, it's just possible there may not be an option, but I hope it doesn't come to that.

Trump is in part a creation of a very small minority of what was formerly the gop, and those voters who became primary voters because of Trump. Trump supporters are convinced there is a deep state threat to remove him from office and persecute him, despite his claiming for 8 years that Obama was an illegitimate potus, and then Hillary should be "locked up." We'll see what Mueller reports. But somehow giving any credence to the conspiracy nutters theories Trump pushed, is not in anyone's interest. But if there's a direct tie to Trump's campaign, Assange and the KGB hacking and phony social media ..... the dems may have a duty to impeach.

Trump won the EC with 48%. But he's poison in the suburbs now. If he loses, and even it's Yuuuuge, the conservatives will still be here, even if the very hard core Trump base goes back to not voting. I think the biggest danger is the dems running someone who can be perceived as far to the left by reasonable conservatives. embracing BLM sense of police victimizing blacks in cities with crazy murder rates of blacks. Or arguing for a 70% tax rate because rich people have to much. In that case, some voters who really don't like Trump's incivility and penchant for demonizing people may find he's the best to two evils
