Compare that to the response in Nashville in 2023, where they bulled their way in and took down the perp as soon as they could.
Could it be that the police considered that they had no dog in the fight, due to the political divide?
Would they have been more willing to risk their lives if they had 'skin in the game'?
This may or may not be a factor in this mass shooting, but there's little doubt it's become a factor in America now.
