What happened to her dad is the same process which led to the overthrow of the Soviet Union. People had private beliefs but they never heard anyone else expressing similar beliefs and instead they were continually bathed in communist propaganda so they kept quiet. Then, towards the end, more and more people found the bravery to express their private beliefs about the utter bankruptcy of communism and all of a sudden everyone discovered that their own private beliefs where widely shared, in fact were the actual common beliefs, but no one had known this because all feared bucking the social rules. Once everyone understood how godawful communism was, the whole facade came tumbling down.

Talk radio is the way people find out the beliefs of others, beliefs which run counter to the liberal propaganda with which we're firehosed with on a daily basis. Once people taste freedom from oppression it's intoxicating not to have to submit to liberal fascists.

So from this movie we see all the liberal propagandists actually being portrayed as neutral commenters and inverting reality and the question becomes, how can we save the far-gone daughter who can't recognize how deeply official propaganda has infected her.

Liberal talk radio has nothing to say that is different from mainstream newspapers, mainstream radio newscasts, mainstream tv network news, mainstream tv local news, Hollywood, gossip magazines, etc. The media is liberal, through and through. Conservative radio is a breath of fresh air and that's why it has the audience it does, that viewpoint can't be found in Hollywood products, on the networks, in newsprint.
