What's your guess for the reason?

It's not a good day for Arkansas. My hometown made the news for being on lockdown for gun violence for a week, now this.

I liked Gwatney. I had heard him speak a few times, and he was a good man. He'll be missed.

Oh, I dunno, Its every conservatives moral imperative to rid this nation of liberals... Though I, say this in jest, sadly I fear there is truth behind this action..

Bullshit. The guy that shot him was a loon or had a personal grudge. But this is to be expected when the games are played as they currently are. The crazies on both side see no other solution as both sides ratchet up the name calling and attempt to paint each other as the biggest crooks in the Country.

Remind me how Bush and Company are gonna get arrested after leaving office cause your side wants revenge.

It would be odd to have another rightwing terrorist attack, so close on the heels of that attack on that liberal Unitarian church.

But, we should wait until the fact are in. Maybe there was some other motivation.

Let's not jump to conclusions, like Cons do: WMD in Iraq, Hillary Clinton murdered Vince Foster, Iran has nuclear weapons, etc.

Bullshit. Conservatives don't have to want to rid the nation of liberals simply for disagreeing with liberal ideology. You see any conservatives from this board condoning this? I consider it the act of a completely unhinged moron of which neither side can claim they have none, nor a monopoly.

Oh, and liberals resort to violence WAY more often than conservatives.

The man told another employee in the office that he "lost his job."

I think he probably worked at one of Gwatney's three car dealerships in the area. It would seem odd for him to go after Gwatney if he had lost his job due to a government sanction; he would more likely go after Democratic Governor Mike Beebe.

I think we'll find that this was not at all politically fueled.

Just the obvious. Which side of the political spectrum has held protests that have turned violent compared to the other side that rarely holds protests at all?

Political ideology alone dictates the results. Protesting the status quo is not conservative, since conservatism supports the status quo. Liberalism is on a continual mission to push whatever line is presented before them, and their favorite means is protest.

I'm not saying ALL liberal protests end in violence. But enough have to be noticeable. Can you name one conservative protest? Much less one that turned violent?
