Texas is great location for any space related site. The climate is warm. Sky is clear. Land is cheap and bountiful. It is just perfect.

Yeah and it's full of Hispanics, so if the rocket fails and falls back to the Earth it will mostly take out the Texass peonies...

Will they use Houston? NASA used microwaves to propel an object in a vacuum mock up of space, and it worked..

There are areas in Texas where there is nothing but miles and miles for miles and miles, literally. We are not talking about setting up launch facility in a crowded area.
