Tennessee Reminds SCOTUS: Separation of Powers: Passes Resolution Calling Out Gay Marriage Decision

I am asking for someone's opinion- and since you are here offering your opinion about everything else- why are you so coy about this?

Are you for legal incestuous marriage?

Or against legal incestuous marriage?

90% of people are not for stripping children legally of either a mother or father. That means when they sit and think about it, 90% of people are in fact against gay marriage. They just are afraid to talk about it.

Nope. That's just your imagination again, desperately trying to sooth the cognitive dissonance.

And of course, you never did answer Sy's question.

So 90% of people can at one and the same time feel that a child having both a mother and father in their life is "important" and "not important"? Poll. Please Vote. Did You Have a Mother & Father in Your Life? Because as you know, gay marriage strips one or the other away from a child's life, for life, 100% of the time. We have to assume that the people think it's important consistently, not inconsistently, unless they're crazy and unstable.

Your poll doesn't even mention marriage. By your own logic, 90% of people are against single parenthood being legal.

Back in reality, you can't help but misrepresent the facts. The vast majority of people are in favor of same sex marriage:

Record-High 60% of Americans Support Same-Sex Marriage

Record-High 60% of Americans Support Same-Sex Marriage

Remember, you don't have the slightest clue what you're talking about.

Oh, and you never did answer Sy's question.

.

Ask those same people if they think that a child having both a mother and father in their life is important. And when 90% of them answer "yes". Then ask those 90% if they were aware that gay marriage denies that to children involved 100% of the time? And if they answer eventually "yes, I guess that's right..." Then re-poll them about their "support" of "gay marriage".

See how easy polling is? Ask the right questions...

Your poll doesn't mention marriage. Let alone same sex marriage. You lied about your poll.

Gallup explicitly asks about same sex marriage. And support is at a record high of 60%.

It doesn't matter what lies you tell yourself, Sil. Reality doesn't change to match your fantasies. This is why your legal predictions are always wrong: you keep replacing the evidence with what you *want* to be true.

Your poll doesn't mention marriage.

Doesn't need to. You're familiar with logic? I have to ask because it isn't evident by how you post. "If" children are an implicit statistical part of marriage "AND" "If" gay marriage = the absence of either a mother or father 100% of the time, for life "AND" "If" 90% of people feel it's important for a child to have both a mother and father in their lives. "Then, therefore" 90% of people feel it's important not to have gay marriage.

Sure. And attributing a straw poll that you can vote as many times as you like from a random message board that doesn't even mention marriage as proving that 90% of Americans oppose gay marriage is void of logic.

Especially when Gallup already polled on national support for same sex marriage and found that support was at an all time high of 60%.

Logically, a poll that asks about support for same sex marriage by a national polling agency would be more credible and reliable on the topic of same sex marriage than a straw poll on a message board that never mentions marriage at all.

See how that works?

Using this wonky and foolish thinking we can also claim that 90% of people feel that is important to not have divorce or single parents. Something tells me you'll object to that illogical leap, though.

1. Not for incest marriage

2. Not for gay marriage

3. Not for polygamy marriage

Yet of all three of those sexual orientations, you claim only one is legal, ironically citing the 14th Amendment in order to justify that claim, while also to justify singling out and denying the other two sexual orientations. All three are statistically repugnant to the majority. Only one gets special treatment...using the 14th..

And this is why I said there is no true marriage equality. And this is why Tennessee is forcing SCOTUS to clarify Obergefell. It is a legal nightmare, unworkable, and unconstitutional..

Since when is polygamy or incest a 'sexual orientation'?

Can you quote anyone but yourself saying this? Or are you going to make up sexual orientations like you do contract law?
