I think people like Cruz must laugh their asses off that conservative audiences are so predictable not to mention easily pliable by offerings of rhetorical red meat while understanding that they can get away with it even though they never offer any real solutions to real problems in the real world.

It reminds me of all the stories I've read over the years about how some poor schmuck goes into a strip club, becomes enamored by some woman who tempts him on stage with seductive moves and alluring looks, and as a result, he ends up emptying his bank accounts and maxing out his credit cards, and he never even ends up getting laid in the process.

I admit that Cruz seems academically brilliant - but he's a social moron. Could someone please explain to me how they think he could possibly win the 2016 General Election? His looney NaziCon base isn't big enough to put him in the White House. Cruz has embraced every radical far-right position - which means he can't "credibly" swing far enough left to pick up enough votes without alienating his NaziCon base. So, how's he gonna do it?

cruz isn't brilliant. He's accomplished. Though his accomplishments aren't anything stellar or anything millions of Americans who have gone to school to receive a law degree.

There's absolutely no way ted cruz can get the nomination.

Most of the politicians in his own party can't stand him. He's taken them down the road to closing the government and stabbed other republicans in the back.
