Anyone know how to fix Firefox's 'sort bookmarks by name' feature so that 2 comes BEFORE 11 (you know actually counting the numbers correctly: 1,2,3,4,5..), instead of it going 1,11,12,13,2,21,22...
Okay. I have bookmarks that are alpha-numerical As it stands, it organizes them like this: 'Science Journal Entry Page 1' 'Science Journal Entry Page 12' 'Science Journal Entry Page 13' 'Science Journal Entry Page 14' 'Science Journal Entry Page 15' 'Science Journal Entry Page 16' 'Science Journal Entry Page 2' 'Science Journal Entry Page 21' 'Science Journal Entry Page 23' 'Science Journal Entry Page 3' I want a way to make it it do it like this: 'Science Journal Entry Page 1' 'Science Journal Entry Page 2' 'Science Journal Entry Page 3' 'Science Journal Entry Page 4' 'Science Journal Entry Page 5' .... 'Science Journal Entry Page 11' 'Science Journal Entry Page 12' 'Science Journal Entry Page 13' I want it to count the numbers and not simply treat it as a literal extension of the alphabetical organization.
Never tried it, but add zeros out to the hundreds place? Page 001 Page 002 . . . Page 012 . . . Page 100 Shouldn't that work? I dunno, I have my FF bookmarks sorted by category: Work Bills and finances Funny Shit Boards Misc Shit Music Of course, it's really just porn in all of them.
I am not about to manually edit that many bookmarks. Why the hell does it not have intuitive sorting built-in?
I will ask the guy I take care of. He knows a lot about that kind of crap, and he bookmarks everything. He also runs Firefox.
My categories are labeled like so: 201007080001A 201007080001B etc... The 20100708 is the date that I created the category folder, and the 0001 is the number of the category. The letter A-Z is assigned to each category in the order that I create it. As I see it, I can create 259,974 categories per day before I run into trouble. And just like RMATL...these are all for porn.
You have to take care of someone who is able to use the computer? Is he a quad? Or just someone who spends so much time on the internet that he forgets to take care of himself? (The latter sounds familiar...)
