Tea Party - The New Third Party

The obvious football game between Republicans and Democrats is over. It's time for a 3rd party. Our country was created with a balance of power. Having a 3rd party to bring the two extremes to a practical center governance is essential to the well being of OUR country.

I've noticed many like to joke or try to belittle the Tea Party... but aren't these people in fact members of the other two parties that have simply come to grips with the fact that the two parties have lost touch with the well being of the general public and instead follow their "Party" lines ?

I have been a member of both parties and an independant... I'm with the Tea Party if only for the fact that they are shaking things up and making the other parties realize that they had better heed the voice of the people.

Just watch CSPAN and you can watch how dems/reps sit across the table each side voting for their party line... EVERY LAST ONE....

The obvious failure of mature reasoning and party affiliation is what has caused the Tea Party movement, and it's clear that a 3rd Party certainly would....and has already... shaken the foundations of the existing party.

I say great ! MORE !! :clap2:

I think the bolded is what it is. A movement. Not an actual Party.

You'd think more people would actually understand that, huh? I find it odd that so many people are unable to grasp very simple concepts, such as a political movement.

the tea parties are not a party.
Now the Communists- THEY KNOW HOW TO PARTY!

Fuck tea, bring vodka

True Communists (not fake communists) wouldn't support the Democrats* or Republicans, as both parties are supported by corporations and the upper classes, whereas the Communist party is a workers movement, with the final goal of eliminating the upper class and creating a single class society with no government whatsoever. That never happened of course, much due to Lenin dying before he could really put the plan into action, Stalin put Trotsky to death along with his other political rivals, thus eliminating any hope of a democratic worker controlled communism desired by Lenin. During the break up of the soviet union, they tried to make it democratic but this simply resulted in corrupt self-serving politicians like Yeltsin taking over the country. So my view of cold war communism is good riddance, but despite it's faults I still favor communism over socialism as I never was one for half measures, you might as well go all the way.

*In fact Obama is hated equally by Communists as by the right (Obama is the image of liberal capitalism imposing American imperialism on the world), but CBS, MSNBC, BBC, CNN and much of the mainstream media don't want you to know that, watch Russia Today and you can find plenty of Communists hating on Obama.

IF you can tweak the tea party to be in the middle you have a bingo.
we have a far left and a far right party of zealots now, make the tea party for middle america and it crushes the loonies.

The TEA party movement needs to stay a movement. For a LOT of reasons.

You make yourself a 3rd party, you get fucked at the negotiations during elections.
You have to have actual leaders, or 1 leader, that the unfreindly media will focus on.
Instead of an us vs them it will be us vs them and them too.

Worst case scenario that pull the gop back to its fiscally conservative roots and cut all this social, theocratic mumbojumbo.

Then the tea party needs to distance itself from the republicans
The tea parties have to stay clear on their goals, don't have to worry about anything else. Watch what the elected do, not say, then vote and work for those that are doing what they said they'll do.

The teabaggers should distance themselves from the nazis in their ranks

As should the Democrats.
Fail.

the Democrats = the KKK

don't you know anything about American history? :eusa_eh:
The KKK supported the Nazi policy on Jews, today they support Islamists because of their policies on Jews. But there is Jew hate in the Democratic and Republican Party's, you just need to know where to look.
