After government came along, we built a lot more roads. Without government, we wouldn't have built the interstate highway system in the 1950's.
After govt. came along? People built roads since the intiation of commerce. Some were established game trails. Some indian trails, etc....
True. All of the big ones were built at socialized cost.
Without governmetn we would all just sit around and wait for a way to transport goods, heh?
You're entitled to believe that if you'd like. Thank god for those extremely intelligent politicians whom without we would all still be walking barefoot and eating twigs and berries. LOL.
Did we have interstates before government built them?
Are you suggesting that nothing would have been done about transport routes if the government didnt do it?
I guess we dont, and never will know the answer, since the state took control of the idea and no chance was given to establish them in a free market capacity. it's like most things the government does. as soon as they usurp the authority to do it, we lose all sight of any other way. They love this fact too.
