1. Law and Order Begins Return to VA

Virginia’s new Attorney General Jason Miyares fired 30 staff members and announced investigations into the Virginia Parole Board and Loudoun County Schools within hours of being sworn into office.

Mr. Miyares was sworn in as Virginia’s Attorney General on Saturday and he’s already cleaning house.

“One of the reasons Virginians get so fed up with government is the lack of transparency – and that’s a big issue here,” Miyares wrote. “The Virginia Parole Board broke the law when they let out murders, rapists, and cop killers early on their sentences without notifying the victims. Loudoun Country Public Schools covered up a sexual assault on school grounds for political gain, leading to an additional assault of a young girl.”

Virginia State Senator Louise Lucas claimed Miyares fired the entire Civil Rights division, however the AG’s spokesperson said only two staffers from that division were let go on Saturday.

Youngkin's net worth is about to go completely bonkers

Looks like a good start. Lots more work to do to unfuck what the dems have done.

There also needs to be a huge purge to get shed of embedded dems in the Virginia government. All agencies & staff headed by dems have to go.....It's the only way to be sure. ;)
When the Republicans had control, they passed all kinds of great bills. Northam and McAuliffe before him vetoed all of them.

It's going to be great to have a Republican Governor again. Too bad we will have to wait until 2023 to get the VA Senate back.

Virginia may be the most interesting state to study in all the union. This guy "1srelluch" says there's "lots more work to do to unfuck what the dems have done," yet Virginia is doing completely fine. What is your problem with the current state of Virginia?

The dems got rid of preemption so now you have a patchwork of local laws, mostly in the blue areas like NOtVA.

They brought back the one handgun a month law.

They eliminated private gun sales, even family gifted guns.

They expanded Medicaid to the tune where almost 500K deadbeats (mostly) became eligible with no work requirement....And guess what, they don't work.

Yep, lots of work to do.

You forgot what got Youngkin in office:
1. Parental control of school boards is a good thing.
2. Prosecute rapists, even if they are trannys.
3. Tell the DOJ that the FBI can't intimidate VA parents. Parents are NOT domestic terrorists.

Those were mostly blue-burb issues, hinterland folks have bigger fish to fry. ;)

Apparently, the residents found reason to change course.

So health not being used to coerce people into working piece of shit jobs, and not being able to quickly assemble a gun arsenal are your only problems with Virginia. Good grief.
