That's very nice of the Saudis, but does anyone know if the U.N. is telling the Saudis how many refugees they must take in the way they are telling the West. After all, most of these refugees are Muslims, and I would think that Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran, etc. would certainly be willing to take in many of them. One would imagine that since Saudi Arabia takes in so many non Muslims to work for them that they would be happy to allow other Muslims in to do the work instead.

Thursday, January 01, 2015 - Riyadh—The Kingdom has decided to allow Syrians to stay in the country without iqamas as long as their visit, Haj, or Umrah visas are valid, but they would have to correct their status later.

According to the Minister of Justice Mohammed Al-Issa, the ministry would allow Syrians holding these visas to live here legally. Sources indicate the ministry asked the General Directorate of Passports to inquire into the possibility of granting Syrians this concession.
