The entire world is counting the minutes until September 9th when the US Congress is expected to reconvene in order to decide the fate of Syria, either banning or approving a US strike against Syrian government targets, following an alleged chemical attack that killed more than a thousand people.

Israel Today spoke to Yelena Gromova, a Russian journalist residing in Damascus, who presents another angle to the complicated Syrian saga.

US claims about an alleged chemical attack seem suspicious. At the same time, even the supporters of Syria’s President Bashar Al Assad (like Iran) acknowledge the fact. Who should people believe?

no poll in Syria can be accepted as legit.

a poll of Syrian refugees and emigrants, can be though.

Let Assad keep using Chemical Weapons. Israel wouldn't care nor should they.

Since the refugees and emigrants comprise people of different religions and even different Muslim sects, they certainly would not be any more legitimate than the people living in Syria. Meanwhile, the reporter probably has her own sources in Damascus, which you don't, and apparently knows much more than you do, Miss Know-it-all. You would have more creditability if you stuck to what is happening on Long Island and Hofstra University.

no Syrian in Syria can be trusted to be honest in regard to a poll about supporting Assad or the rebellion, considering the mass murder and intimidation that is going on there.

and YOU sir, should stop trolling.

Do you realize how silly you sound, Miss Hoffstra. How do you know that Syrians in Syria can't be trusted? Are you a Syrian yourself that you know your own people so well by communicating with your relatives still there? As for a troll, I happened to have started this thread, and nobody forced you to contribute to it, Miss Troll Hoffstra. And you Sir are no lady.

The Syrian people are under threat of mass murder and retaliation for standing up to Assad.

you should be aware of that, troll.

As the readers can see, the one who is actually a troll felt that she had to say something to a thread that I started. Meanwhile, Miss Troll Hoffstra doesn't seem to realize that the Syrian people who are Christians and those Muslims who are non Sunnis are under attack by the rebels who have killed and wounded many of them and who have threatened many more. Perhaps Miss Troll Hoffstra should keep up with the news and see what the rebels are doing to the citizens of Syria who are on their hit list. Meanwhile, the woman reporter actually based in Damascus certainly must know how the people actually feel, but Miss Know-it-all thinks she knows everything about how the people feel in Syria even though she isn't there in person to question them.

There are more than enough Muslim nations that can intervene.

the USA doesn't have to.
