Forces of the Syrian Arab Army liberated Kessab that has been target of Islamist terrorists within the scope of the Latakia offensive 2014. Kessab has become known due to the international Save Kessab campaign. Months ago thousands of terrorists hosted and supported by Turkey crossed the border and tried to create a toehold for whatever. Now, most of them are dead or wounded and the escaping terrorists burned the Armenian Evangelical Church. Turkish, Qatari and French medical and military equipment has been seized by the Syrian Forces. As the residents come back to check their homes, the Army secures the border.
