While I saw the RvW decision by the Supreme Court as an overreach And legislation from the bench, I was willing to let it stand and abide with it. But then the left being the left slowly began pushing their special brand of crazy further and further.
If six weeks was fine let’s make it 15. if 15 is fine let’s make it 6 months. If 6 months is fine let’s make it up to the day of delivery. They really needed to understand that rational people feel that there needs to be cut offs.
The left are now attempting to vilify the court and make it seem as if they have outlawed abortion. They did not. The left are rioting and pushing violence because like angry children they did not get their way. Which is the usual response to anything that upsets them.

You can get polls to say anything you want depending on the demographics. The poll asks if people have a great deal of confidence in the Court. It probably also asked if people had "some confidence" but Raw Story didn't include that part because it conflicts with their narrative.

Actually, the ruling was on the rule of Law- not the will of God.

It was a very moderate order. It didn't outlaw abortion at all- just ceded the regulation of the abortuaries to the states as required in the Bill of Rights.

The Supreme Court could have- if they had wanted to legislate from the bench- just outlawed the abomination of abortion from sea to shining sea.

But they did not, they made a very moderate decision. If the libs want to have abortion running amok in their hell holes, they are more than welcome to have it.

And, so? Republicans have been saying for decades since Roe that the court system has become a legislative system writing new laws from the benches in America. So, of course the polling is going to be low with Republicans before June 24th and the new Roe ruling overturning Roe. Why are Democrats so low is the question since they have gained a lot from legislation from the benches? When it comes to the Supreme Court itself, Roberts has gone rogue with the left several times on key decisions and that's why Republicans view the court the way they do. But, it should be interesting after yesterday to see what polling says now.

I always held the Supreme Court to a higher standard compared to the typical politician-squabbling we have in the other branches. But they’re actually no different.

“The rule of law” is nothing more than a flimsy partisan argument that will sway one way or the other depending on who is in charge at the time.
