Supervoid

Now I know everyone was expecting this to be a thread about the space between bobo's ears, but in fact a supervoid is an astronomical phenomena that, if identified, would pretty much prove the existence of dark energy and balance the whole pesky accelerating expansion thing. Around 2007 a cold spot was 'spotted' that scientists have been peeping at in the hopes of locating a supervoid. So, if an ISW can be confirmed, it would be a game changer. 3-D imaging around the cold spot, collaborated from several sources, seems to have sealed the deal, but a lot of interesting work, and more interesting conclusions are no doubt on the way.


Bottom line, if you plan on living until the end of time, it would be a good idea to invest in some warm clothes.
