Breaking: Senator Reid Appoints Democrats Murray, Baucus, and Kerry to Super Committee - Daniel Doherty

According to National Journal, Senator Harry Reid has made his decision regarding who he will appoint to the "super committee" charged with slashing $1.2 trillion in additional spending next fall:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., will appoint Democratic Sens. Patty Murray of Washington, Max Baucus of Montana and John Kerry of Massachusetts to the new "super committee" tasked with finding $1.2 trillion in additional deficit reduction by Nov. 23, according to a senior Democratic aide familiar with Reid’s decision, which is expected to be made public as early as Wednesday.

Super Comittee = oxymoron. What a freaking turdfest.

grid lock- deep cuts in defense, no entitlement offerings, and I don't count cuts to doctors and institutions as honest offers on that count.

So shockingly, spending cuts are off the table now.

Now all we have to do is wait for that "emergency" that will justify ignoring the automatic cuts.
