That's not what this is about. OK already passed an anti-smoking bill that banned it in public and in most businesses. There were exceptions for bars and restaurants with proper ventilation. That's far enough in my opinion, but cities wanted to take it further.

One part of the issue that sticks out to me are the businesses that paid large amounts to install upgraded ventilation wouldn't get grandfathered in. How would you feel if the state said it was fine to do something, so you spent a bunch of money, and then the city can in after that and made all that money you spent a complete waste?
