    Did any of you see see the 60 Minute story on insider training in Congress. It is sad how corrupt the Legislative branch has become. Whether you are Republican or Democrat we need to create constituitional laws to reign the crooks in.

    I only caught a wee bit of the end of the story. Sounded like the D.C. critters are practicing insider trading of sorts? Didn't get a chance to read or watch yet but the article is stating that what they're doing is legal? :confused:

    Sorry, A constitutional amendment that Congress may not pass a law and exempt themselves.

    Inside trading is illegal for everyone but members of Congress who reportedly engage in it frequently.

    There was a bit of a scandal back in the 80s about a congresscritter here in Oregon who got in trouble for insider trading on confidential information given to the agriculture committee.

    However the man lost money at it, so the prosecution was dropped.
