Was the newest technology on the planet left behind in Pakistan relatively intact? The choppers were so new and secret that most of the Military commanders never saw them. Didn't the pilots know how to fly the things or weren't the pilots familiar with it before they left on the most important mission in recent times? The chopper wasn't shot down or brought down by hostlle forces. It fell out of the sky. Choppers can't hover indefinitely in the same place. It's one of the principals of flying. Nobody was hurt or killed thank God so the conspiracy theory might be that the technology was left behind on purpose in order to even the military playing field.

It's not unpatriotic to critique this mission from a technical standpoint. Apparently there was no time constraint and leaders should have been briefed what to do in case the helicopters were downed. There's lots of peculiar stuff coming out about the mission and it's reasonable to address them as they come up.

China can't wait to get their hands on it so the reverse-engineering can begin.

The news just reported that the Pakis have carried it away. Hopefully they do the right thing. Right now though, they are red-faced and trying to talk tough.
