I got to see him and Rick Derringer at a small arena in Cleveland ....amazing show. That was mid to late 70s. That was on a Wednesday or Thursday night , and we saw Mahogany Rush at the same place Saturday night. Saw Johnny Winter too there... who I liked even more at the time. 3 times I saw him in his prime luckily

Derringer was with Winter a lot. Many don't know about Canuckian Frank Marino, but he was damn good!

Health has caught up with him .
Yeah he opened for Angel the night I saw M.R.
And yeah I saw Rick with Edgar Winter group one show.......they opened for Uriah Heep and Jethro Tull.
