A purge on this historic scale may be implausible, but it’s theoretically possible because of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution, also known as the Disqualification Clause. It says public officials who aid or take part in an insurrection against the U.S. Constitution violate the oaths they took to support it. Section 3 disqualifies them from serving in state or federal government again.

They can call for 14A all they want, until trump is charged and convicted under 18 US 2838, they don’t have anything to go on.

They’ll tell you they do, but as that guy stated, the cotus is clear. Article 5 of the 14A says congress enforces the articles of 14A with appropriate legislation, which they did by passing 18 US 2383.

I believe that in the standard they have to meet to DQ him.

And this makes me wonder..WHY haven’t they charged him with that? They all keep talking about his insurrection, they have 4 indictments and 91 charges against him, and not one of them is 18 US 2383…WHY? What is it that’s hiding them back from making that charge?

The 14th has no such limitations. "shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof."

The Riot on Jan 6th qualifies and he most certainly gave aid and comfort to his riotous hoard during and after the riot.
