Some of these U.S. school districts are either cowards or slaves to Islam

This is why he was banned.

Mr. Wood admitted in an October 2014 interview with the Maryland Independent, which was reprinted Feb. 5, 2016, that “he instructed a La Plata school official to take the ‘Muslim-loving’ assignment and shove it up her ‘white [expletive]’ and that he promised to contact the media and ‘bring a [expletive] storm down on them like they’ve never seen,’” It was these statements that caused school officials to anticipate that Mr. Wood would cause a substantial disruption in the school and which lead to the issuance of the no trespass order.

Where is that acceptable behaviour ?

And this indicates his willingness to sort out the issue like an adult.

On Oct. 27, 2014, Superintendent of Schools Kimberly Hill and Assistant Superintendent of Instruction Amy Hollstein met with Mr. and Mrs. Wood to discuss their concerns with the World History curriculum and arranged for the parents to meet with the La Plata High School principal in early November 2014 to discuss lifting the no trespass order. Mr. and Mrs. Wood did not attend the meeting, and at no time since then has Mr. Wood attempted to arrange a meeting with the principal to get the order rescinded.

What they are doing to the parents of this student is unconscionable, IMO. A marine parent, no less, who objects to the mandated school assignment of having to write that “there is no god by Allah” (for starters) is now banned from attending his daughter’s graduation. An isolated incident? Not really. But as much as our public schools and federal government and courts now despise any mention of Christianity, it makes one what wonder what in the heck is going on? I won’t hold my breath waiting for an editorial in a liberal newspaper or TV news outlet to comment on this.

Excerpts from the article below:

The lawsuit charges that school officials concealed the curriculum by using two separate history textbooks, one of which contained the Islamic teachings and which students were required to leave at school. The other, which did not contain the teachings, was allowed to be taken home, the complaint explains. The school also excised the Islamic teachings from the course syllabus.

The students, the complaint says, were required to “write out and confess the shahada, the Islamic profession of faith.” The legal team notes the shahada states, “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”

“For non-Muslims, reciting the statement is sufficient to convert one to Islam,” the complaint says. “Moreover, the second part of the statement, ‘Muhammad is the messenger of Allah,’ signifies the person has accepted Muhammad as their spiritual leader. The teenager was also required to memorize and recite the Five Pillars of Islam.”

Not only did the district refuse permission for C.W. to opt out of the religious assignments, it imposed grades of zero. Further, the complaint says, the district disparaged Christianity in multiple ways, including the statement, “Most Muslims’ faith is stronger than the average Christian.” The district taught that the West engages in “imperialistic pursuits” and insists “men are the managers of women.”

WND? LOL....

Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) social studies curriculum adheres to the Maryland World History curricular standards that are a requirement for all counties in the state. These standards include an analysis of the elements of culture such as art, music, religion, government, social structure, education, beliefs and customs in societies throughout history. Regarding the study of history specifically, the standards also state that students should be able to analyze the customs and beliefs of world religions and their expansion, as well as how their establishment has impacted other areas of culture, and in certain times and regions, even caused conflict.

The particular unit in question at La Plata High School is on the formation of Middle Eastern empires in which students learned the basic concepts of the Islamic faith and how it, along with politics, culture, economics and geography, contributed to the development of the Middle East. Other religions are introduced when they influence or impact a particular historical era or geographic region. For example, when reviewing the Renaissance and Reformation, students study the concepts and role of Christianity. When learning about the development of China and India, students examine Hinduism and Buddhism.

There is also misinformation about why the school issued a No Trespass Order on a parent. This parent threatened to cause problems that would potentially disrupt La Plata High School this morning. To ensure the safety of students and staff at the school, the school administration placed a No Trespass Order on this parent.

And another generation of suicide bombers is born ! Seriously though, this whole thread is a classic example of how hate bigotry can make bricks with straw. Warped minds that have now gone very quiet on this issue.

To anyone at a Trump rally, yes. In normal adult society, no.

That is what the complaint says.

That doesn't mean it is the truth.

What it means is that the moronic attacks on the source of the story are fruitless.

Why do you personally object to the separation of church and state?

What it means is that only morons rely upon WND for information.

Why do you personally object to students learning about world religions as part of world history?

Oh dear.....this has certainly blown up in the OPs face. This kind of xenophobia never holds up in the light of day....remember the girl in Texas who complained that the teacher punished her if she said god was a fact? That didn't hold up either.

I have to wonder if the OP actually believed it when he posted it or thought that it just kinda sounded right ?
The site he took it from could have done a little bit of fact checking before publishing the nonsense as well.

Of course this sort of shite feeds this sort of thing.
Hate Attacks On Muslims in U.S. Spike

And maybe that is what it is all about.

The lawsuit, filed in federal court, alleges that students spent only one day studying Christianity and two weeks studying Islam.

“During its brief instruction on Christianity, Defendants failed to cover any portion of the Bible or other non-Islamic religious texts, such as the Ten Commandments,” the lawsuit states. “Instead, the class included disparaging remarks about Christianity and the Pope.”

Students were also allegedly instructed that “the Islamic religion is a fact while Christianity and Judaism are just beliefs.”

“Such discriminatory treatment of Christianity is an unconstitutional promotion of one religion over another,” Thompson said.

“United States Supreme Court precedent does not create a double standard that allows for the promotion of Islam in our public schools while disallowing and silencing teachings of Christianity and Judaism
,” the lawsuit states.

Repeating bullshit doesnt actually make any of it true. I would quietly walk away from this one if I was you.

Seems parents everywhere are getting peeved. And since when do you need to memorise and recite Islamic conversion creed in order to understand history? particularly when the bible isn't even looked at when dealing with Christianity.

Tennessee parents are voicing their concerns about a middle school history assignment in which students were asked to write "Allah is the only God."

Brandee Porterfield joined "Fox and Friends" this morning, saying she has no problem with her seventh-grade daughter learning about Islam as part of world history, but believes time should also be devoted to Christianity.

"They did this assignment where they wrote out the Five Pillars of Islam, including having the children learn and write the Shahada, which is the Islamic conversion creed
," she explained.

Porterfield said she spoke with the Spring Hill Middle School teacher and principal, who said there would not be similar lessons on Christianity and Judaism.

She said she reviewed the state standards and there are upcoming lessons on Hinduism and Buddhism.

Unlike the lessons on Islam, however, Porterfield said students would not be expected to memorize a creed dealing with those religions
.

"They don't study any other religions to this extent. ... It is the state sponsoring religion in schools. They're not going over anything else. For the students to have to memorize this prayer, it does seem like it's indoctrination," said Porterfield.
