Some Democrats Want to Decriminalize Illegal Border Crossings. Would It Work?
Whether it’s by crossing the U.S. border with a "coyote" or buying a fake U.S. passport, a foreign national who enters the U.S. illegally can be both convicted of a crime and held responsible for a civil violation under the U.S. immigration laws. Illegal entry also carries consequences for anyone who might later attempt to apply for a green card or other immigration benefits.
The penalties and consequences get progressively more severe if a person enters illegally more than once, or enters illegally after an order of removal (deportation) or after having been convicted of an aggravated felony.

I am ok with it being a civil defense with deportation which is the penalty but it has to be enforced or it does not work. Democrats believe they are above the law and do not have to enforce the law. And we need to hold businesses responsible that hire illegals which is a crime also. Stopping illegal immigration is a simple process in the law and if enforced there would be no need to spend billions on securing the border. If they cannot work and collect welfare for anchor babies, who are duel citizens, they will not come.

The people who want to decriminalize illegal border crossing are the same people who discovered putting gerbils up their butts for fun. How the hell can you listen to someone like that. Build that wall.
