Cant make this stuff up. We have been buying helicopters from Russia.

Werent they the Democrats Great Satan?

Trump Effect: Pentagon Will Stop Buying Russian Helicopters

The Pentagon has notified Congress that it plans to stop buying Russian Mi17 helicopters for Afghanistan and will start buying American helicopters, according to Radio Free Europe.

The purchase of U.S. military helicopters for Afghani operations has long been sought by members of Congress, but it didn’t happen until Republican President-elect Donald Trump won the election on Nov. 8.

“I’ll never understand why the U.S. government sent taxpayer money to Russia for helicopters in Afghanistan while Russia was supporting the Assad regime in Syria and invading eastern Ukraine,” U.S. Senator Chris Murphy, a Democrat from Connecticut, told Radio Free Europe after the decision was made on Friday.

“When the Pentagon buys helicopters, they should be made in America,” said Murphy.

Trump had run on a platform of putting American manufacturers first. Trump has also said he would renegotiate free-trade treaties.

Already, Ford Motor Co. has said it will not move an assembly line in Kentucky to Mexico. Trump’s bully pulpit for American jobs is already being called “the Trump effect.”

The day after he was elected; GM announced it was laying off workers (as Volkswagen did). Ford denies any involvement from Trump on their decision.

Liberals will have something bad to say about this.
But some things that are said are also entirely devoid of meaning.

Just giving the subject a chance to clarify what ever it was they tried to imply.

Does Goose think it is good to buy our military equipment from our rivals instead of making it within our own borders?

Does Goose think that it is absurd to do such things and he was rolling his eyes at Obama for doing such a stupid thing?

Or maybe she thought that the subject is irrelevant because of the greater evil of buying tools to wage war, itself the greatest evil?

I dont know and have not the foggiest notion of what it was trying to get at at all.

Didn't know Barry and Hillary's Russian reset button took jobs from American workers, but it certainly doesn't surprise me. If you're bent on putting coal miners out of work it makes sense to do the same to factory workers, no?

The Obama Regime waged an 8 year war on the American Middle Class, and may it finally woke up in the 2016 Election.

Here is to hoping the Dimocrats regurgitate their same mistakes in the 2020 election as well.

I don't give a shit what the American government is purchasing. If it can be made in America then they should purchase the American made product.

General Motors plans to lay off 2,000 employees at two U.S. auto plants in early 2017, the automaker said on Wednesday.

GM’s Lordstown, Ohio and Lansing, Michigan plants build slow-selling cars sold by Chevrolet and Cadillac. GM said it will furlough the employees when it cuts the third shift at both plants in January.

GM says the furlough is a response to what the company believes will be a continued shift from cars to crossovers and trucks. The Lordstown plant builds the compact Chevrolet Cruze, whose U.S. sales through October were down 20%. The Lansing Grand River plant builds the Cadillac ATS and CTS, whose sales were down 17% through October.

Simple economics, people are not buying the vehicles the plants are producing. Think before you comment

Third shift positions are normally assumed to be temporary.

In a few years, if Ford plays nice with the American Middle Class, maybe they can hire them back again.

All Trump had to do was win the election. The writing is on the wall. To bad it's in a language that you will never understand.
