Is anybody watching the news of the 6 year old boy who climbed into a homemeade balloon and is now flying all over the Denver area?
They're trying to figure out how to rescue him.
It's being covered by all the news channels.

"The structure at the bottom of the balloon that the boy is in is made of extremely thin plywood and won't withstand any kind of a crash at all," said Erik Nilsson, Larimer County Emergency Manager.

Deputies from Larimer and Weld counties are tracking the balloon as it drifts. Experts said it could remain airborne for up to 12 hours.

FAA spokesman Mike Fergus said the agency has been notified and it was unclear whether traffic controllers had picked it up on radar.

The balloon may drift into air traffic control corridors used by Denver International Airport, based on its current location and direction.

The kid's parents are absolutely liable.
Just as if the kid had drown in an unfenced swimming pool.

But I am an uncle to a 7 year old who I honestly think could totally handle something like this.
And like I said, when this is all over, and the boy is back safe on the ground (and he will, mark my words) he will be a hero and adventures like that can't be bought.

Not to say he isn't scared, cold, and hungry.

All minor, compared to an amazing life experience.

Somehow snag it with a hook.
