Should the US be Communist?

George Soros spends his money destroying socialist and communist countries. I'm surprised the right hates him so much.
He knows where he can make his money, so.....

See if you can complete the rationale.

I'm not sure I understand your answer.....The right hates him because he knows where to make money?

Now I'm even more puzzled by why the right hates him. I thought making money was a good right wing attribute, something right wingers are proud of.
Whooooooosh!

Communism, as practiced by everybody that tried it, failed, and failed miserably. Like most 'pure' ideologies, it's failure was in the rigidity of it's 'ideals'. Now we see the same kind of rigidity in the 'ideals' of the present 'Conservatives' in the US. Should they get power, the results will be just as dismal.

That's why the Foremost Conservative Ronald Reagan defeated them with his policies.

Crocks? Get a grip, shithead.

While you folks are making fun of the OP, I'm going to give him a serious answer.

Communism, properly so called (the final stage in social progress in Marxist theory) is almost surely impossible.

Communism, improperly so called (the socialist system implemented by the Soviet Union that was supposed to lead to communism eventually) did not work, probably because 1) it was overly centralized with too little ability to adapt to changing market conditions, and 2) the government was undemocratic, which led to corruption of the ostensibly-egalitarian economic system through economic perks falling to Communist Party members.

A different system of socialism might work well, if sufficiently decentralized and presided over by a democratic government. However, it would still not be communism.

So the answer to your question, IMO, is "no."

That doesn't mean the system we have now doesn't need some drastic overhauling.

I vote yes. The amount of corruption and unilateralism of this joke we call democracy needs to be fixed. None of these candidates are qualified as they are mostly puppets being run by individuals behind the scene for the better good of small minority. Communism would allow for the middle class to rule once again.

joke we call democracy? We are a Republic.

The system is good. Not as good as it was in 1900, but it's good.

The problem is the people are corrupt. and as long as we have corrupt people it doesnt matter what system of government we have. It will be corrupt.

Communism doesn't have a middle class. It has a ruling class, the politicians, and then it has everyone else who is worthless in their eyes.

You need to realize there are no classes. They are political constructs made up by those who want to divide us to obtain power over us.

So which of these policies will destroy the nation?

1) Lower taxes
2) Living within our means
3) Individual liberty and responsibility
4) ending unconstitutional government programs
5) living by the constitution

By "the nation", he means "liberal power in government".

Of course, that's more important to him than the nation.

No. It should be a social democracy(instead of a corporatocracy) where the revenues entering the system only help the US...NOT Zaire, Palestine, IsNtReal, north Korea and all the other places your masters toss your money while you cheer and wave the flag.
But hey. The pimps that own your masters need some peace in Indonesia, Brazil,Africa and half the rest of the world.. To attain that requires some pretty heavy bribery.
It's hard as hell to steal natural resources when un-murkins are trying to kill you.

I think you need to go to a library and study what Communism really is bud.
People die by the thousands under communism.
No one has any rule or voice but the government under Communism.
Why do you think so many Russians came to the U.S.A. while under under Communist rule?
What part of, everything always costs to much, when government rule's everything, don't you understand? This is exactly why Communism and Marxism always fails.

You are an idiot, communism sucks period. No matter how bad capitalism is it is still better than communism.

Ask the starving people in North Korea who well it worked for them. What about Fidel Castro. His people left in droves to leave the communist party
