In fact, I believe that there should never be a background check ran unless it is going to be done for free and it is done instantly. A waiting period of no more than 3 minutes.

If nothing comes back in those three minutes, the purchase is allowed to go through.

The Right to Keep and Bear arms should not be any further restricted than the Right to Vote.

If it is too much of an imposition to require a photo ID to vote, it is too much of an imposition to require one to purchase a fire arm.
