This is a hypothetical exchange between Shiva (Hindu god of destruction) and Carnage (fictional villain from Marvel Comics symbolizing pure anarchy) regarding the ethics of the modern age of commerce.

This exchange was inspired by Ruthless People and Character.

SHIVA: The global community needs to safeguard welfare in the modern age of capitalism.
CARNAGE: Wall Street sharks are demoralizing...
SHIVA: Women were once gatherers, and they want men to respect Netgrocer.com!
CARNAGE: Did you know that Internet mail-order-brides have been murdered?
SHIVA: Yes, policing this modern age of high global traffic is nearly impossible.
CARNAGE: Maybe Jack the Ripper will return in another form.
SHIVA: The Christian Bible suggests the AntiChrist will appear at the End of Days.
CARNAGE: Perhaps the AntiChrist will be a movie-star who kills Internet mail-order-brides!
SHIVA: Jack the Ripper used to remove the internal organs of prostitutes he murdered.
CARNAGE: Yes, Jack the Ripper was very cynical about 'urban hygiene.'
SHIVA: Some have hypothesized that Jack the Ripper may have been a 'jaded doctor.'
CARNAGE: Perhaps Jack the Ripper prophesied the rise of sexually-transmitted diseases!
SHIVA: Just because capitalism promotes shopping, we need not demonize women.
CARNAGE: Some men of the modern world feel that commerce stifles the imagination.
SHIVA: The lesson of 9/11 is that anti-commerce angst is not justified by terrorism.
CARNAGE: Perhaps modern man will embrace the spirit of Barbie-doll shopping!
SHIVA: "Eat Girl Scout Cookies...not Girl Scouts!"
CARNAGE: I wonder if U.S. First Lady Melania Trump adores Facebook...
